Announcing - Freya's Choice... Whatever She Wants, She Usually Gets

Nothing much happens in Abbey St. Francis, but Freya’s about to change all that…

I am delighted (considerable jumping up and down is involved) to announce that my Paranormal Adventure novel - Freya's Choice - has found a home with those lovely people at Amber Quill Press.

The official blurb will follow later, but here's my elevator pitch:

Betrayed by a former husband, Eve is scared of her feelings for the gorgeous, hunky farmer, Mark Latimer. All she needs is a little more time, but when beautiful, enigmatic Freya sweeps into the village, suddenly nothing is as it was. All around her, people behave strangely, and when Freya decides she wants Mark, Eve is forced to accept that she’s in love with him and will do anything to win him back – even if it means taking on the most powerful goddess of them all.

This story marks a departure for me. The eagle-eyed amongst you (who have passed this way before) will have noticed a few subtle changes to this blog. I have already marked the extracts from Seducing Amanda and Vienna Valentine as being strictly for the over 18s. This is because Freya's Choice won't be. It doesn't contain graphic sex scenes, although there is a gorgeous hunky guy, who looks very much like this:

Now, now calm down ladies (and gentlemen, where applicable). This is a pretty close representation of major character Mark Latimer. When I add to this that Mark isn't just a pretty face and six foot six of muscled deliciousness, but also a caring guy with a great personality, I think you begin to see why my main female character - Eve Lawson - isn't going to let Freya get her claws into him. Not if she can help it anyway.

But Freya isn't like other women. She is a Norse goddess. Not just any old Norse goddess either. They simply don't come bigger or more powerful than this one.

Eve is your everyday, normal, down home girl. Just like you or me, but when she feels threatened, her anger grows even greater than the two enormous cats that protect the goddess. Will that be enough to beat her foe? Or will she need help from a god even more powerful than Freya?

Well, I'm not going to tell you here, am I? No, you'll just have to be patient.

Freya's Choice will be released at the beginning of February 2015 in the usual ebook formats, and in paperback at the end of that month. More news when I get it - including the cover reveal, when I get it. Can't wait!

Meanwhile, why not have a look at some of the current great titles Amber Quill have to offer. Just click the link:
